The First Baby To Crawl...EVER!!

Emily began to "crawl" over the last couple of days. Really she is just
now getting up on her knees. She has been scooting backwards for some
time but this new amazing feat has been a joy to see. She is making new discoveries every single day. We are well aware that there will be some serious baby-proofing in the Kramer Casa in the days to come.

Okay, so as we go on and on about our new little baby wonder, it comes to mind how this fascinating little creature has changed our lives. I recall many times that I was in the presence of other mommies who would go on forever about the new miraculous feats of their very own "wonder babies." I would listen with a smile on my face all the while thinking, "Yeah, yeah and I bet your baby is the first to ever fill up a diaper." I know, I know its the painful truth. But the irony is, much to my surprise, I am now officially one of "those" moms. It really is a crazy thing, I do think my daughter is the first baby to EVER crawl or poop in the bathtub! So, please forgive us being so enamoured by our little one. Although we figure you must think she's pretty cute too or why would you be on this site? We're pretty sure that it's not because you want to check out the latest pics of me and Derek!

Recently, in the past 24 hours, I became aware that there are more of you than I originally thought that need an "Emily Fix."(see Posted Comments--OUCH!!!):):) I apologize. We just didn't want to assume that everyone else is as crazy as were are about little Emily Paige. We are humbled that so many of you love her so much! We will continue to update you with all of her many accomplishments...what is that I hear? I've got to run, Emily is playing Beethoven's Fifth for the first time...EVER!

So much for swearing you'd never be one of "those" moms...
Seriously, you should be proud of every accomplishment she makes... and you are both well rounded enough to recognize that life still goes on in the lives of others...
Hats off to the well-rounded Mom's and Dad's who love and praise their children and sincerely care about what's going on in the lives of their friends!
It's the parents who care ONLY about their own kids that grate on our nerves... sheesh.

Amen to that...tis great that you two are well rounded individuals...even if you still secretly sing Whitney's...I believe the children are the future...to put Emily to sleep..
